London Big Ben and traffic on Westminster Bridge

Has been my home for the last 25 years, most importantly I believe is my job to show people around in this hard core city with all its epic architecture, fantastic greenery and multicultural face. I truly think London is the capital of the world.

I absolutely love The Albion for breakfast an you’re 2 minutes walk from brick lane, try the Stilton and Marmite roll.

Nude expresso is great for really good coffee and they roast it right opposite where you can buy coffee beans, their breakfast is great. There’s a shop and a cafe opposite to each other so you can buy their coffee too.

For the best steak in town, Hawksmoor, my favourite one is in Air Street. Try the full fat old fashioned.

Out of the 2 St John restaurants I honestly prefer Bread and Wine next to the Ten Bells in spirafields, (Jack the ripper used to pick up victims there)

Street Feast in Dalston is great to hang out in a group and taste various bits from all over the world.

In Kingsland rd there’s a Place called Chick n’Sours pretty amazing, on Sunday the do a whole fried chicken, great whiskey sour cocktails too.

If you want to try some Latin American stuff you have Arepa and Co.

Rasa does incredible Kerala dishes, not too spicy but incredibly tasty, just go for the Kerala feast and share, Theres 2 restaurants in Church street opposite to each other, one is fully veggie and the other does everything, both amazing.

Tonkotsu in mare street is awesome for ramen and loads of tasty sides.

Real Neapolitan pizza at Franco Manca. Is a chain but is pretty decent.

And my fav pizza is called Pizzeria Papagone.

Sushi at Eat Tokyo in red lion street not far from a great pub called The Enterprise.

The Enterprise

My favourite cocktail bar is called High Water.

Also Bad sports does the best tacos in london and really good cocktails downstairs, very relaxed family fair.

The Dove is a great pub in Broadway Market: does tones of nice beers and have great food there, good Sunday roast, must book.

Brew dog pub does fantastic beers abs made by them, not on that pub itself but it is an independent brewery.

Visit Jaguar shoes, for drinks, hipsters bar but pretty cool. You can order pizza from next door.

Gordon’s wine bar, gets packed quickly but is ancient and really good and you can eat loads of good cheeses, cold meats, pies etc.

Oriole, voted best bar in the world in Feb 2017, won 3 class awards, must book, easier to get a table on week days, prices £12 to £17 but well worth it.
